Having escaped, David went to Samuel in Ramah and told him how Saul had treated him.

But the spirit of God came upon Saul too, and he too stripped off his clothes and fell into a prophetic frenzy in Samuel's presence.
He was there naked on the ground the rest of the day and all night long. This is the origin of the saying, 'Is Saul among the prophets?'
