Achan said, 'Amongst the loot I saw a beautiful Babylonian robe, two hundred shekels of silver, and gold bar. They are hidden in the ground in my tent.'

Joshua sent messengers who ran to the tent. They took the loot from the tent and brought it before Joshua and all the Israelites.

Then Joshua took Achan, his sons, his daughters, his cattle, his donkeys, his sheep, and his goats, and brought them to the Valley of Achor.

Joshua said, 'Why have you brought disaster on us? Now Yahweh will bring disaster on you today!'

Then the Israelites stoned them with stones.

And burned them with fire.
