Jesus started to speak to them in parables again: 'The kingdom of Heaven may be compared to a king who gave a wedding banquet for his son.'<br>
'He invited a large number of people, and when the time for the banquet came, he sent his slave to say to those who had been invited, "Look, the banquet is ready. My oxen and fattened cattle have been slaughtered. Everything is prepared. Come to the wedding."'<br>
'But each one began to make excuses. The first said, "I have bought a piece of land and must go see it. Please accept my apologies."'<br>
